How Hamas uses human shields
Hamas and other terrorist groups constantly use peaceful targets as launching pads for rockets. The IDF demonstrates what it looks like from the air and how our troops destroy the rockets.
A plume of smoke grows between ordinary houses. This is a rocket launch – this is what it looks like from a reconnaissance plane. A rocket trail stretches out of the ground a few houses away from the school. The second one is already in the schoolyard and two steps away from the mosque: the characteristic dome is clearly visible in the photo. The third one is at the fence of the school, on the other side.
This is the footage of the 100th reconnaissance squadron of the Israeli Air Force. And it shows that the civilian building is literally surrounded by Hamas launching pads from which they fire at peaceful Israeli towns.
Next, it’s the fighter jets that come into play. The countdown is on, and there are explosions where the rocket launchers were.
A workshop for the production of weapons and ammunition plus a weapons warehouse in one of the residential buildings in the Gaza Strip. Another ‘civilian object’. When an entire city is turned into one large military base – both above and below ground – it ceases to be a civilian facility. Weapons production workshops cannot be located in residential civilian buildings – this is a war crime. However, so is the placement of tunnels and missiles in hospitals, kindergartens, schools, and mosques. As well as fighting in civilian clothes, without wearing a military uniform with distinctive insignia. Using civilians as human shields is a grave war crime.
